David J. Schmit

Mr. Schmit received his B.A. degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his MA in History and Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University, Washington D.C. Mr. Schmit is admitted to practice before all California courts, the District of Columbia and certain federal courts including the United States Supreme Court.

Following law school Mr. Schmit spent four years representing indigent criminal defendants in Washington, DC trial courts. Thereafter he spent two years in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

His practice experience includes Indian law, criminal law, employment discrimination, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, and California workers’ compensation. He has also practiced in the areas of maritime law, civil personal injury, insurance coverage, wrongful termination and subrogation.

Mr. Schmit is currently a Board Member for the San Francisco Industrial Claims Association, Vice Chair of the Middle East Member-Led Forum of Commonwealth Club of California, and former Chair of the Business Advisory Committee Oakland Community Organizations.

Jenny Do

Ms. Do received her JD from Lincoln Law School and pursued graduate legal studies at Golden Gate University School of Law. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History at San Jose State University. Ms. Do has 10 years of litigation experience in personal injury law; business law, bankruptcy and immigration law.

She has extensive experience in the arts, charities and community affairs particularly in the Vietnamese community in Santa Clara.

Susan R. Sherriff

Ms. Sherriff received her Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University and her J.D. from Lincoln Law School. She has over 20 years of litigation experience including 17 years in workers’ compensation and 4 years in personal injury law. Ms. Sherriff also has worked in family law, criminal law and juvenile law.
